Illustrated sequences / Independent concept
Neighbourhood notes
A fictional street assembled from windows, rooftops and little signs of daily life.
The starting thought
A self-directed visual story about noticing ordinary places. The fictional street is a setting for a short editorial sequence, rather than a drawing of a real address.
Inside the composition
Repeated windows give the scene a steady beat. Each building has a different silhouette, so the street feels varied without losing its overall rhythm. Leaves, laundry and a bicycle bring the scale back to daily life.
Thinking about the placement
The wide illustration establishes the setting. A sequence could follow the balcony, doorway and bicycle as separate moments; those extra panels would be distinct deliverables in a real brief.
